Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This is a plain-language starting template. Have a lawyer review it for your jurisdiction before launch, and replace anything in [brackets].

This policy explains what Wickary ("we", operated by [Your legal name / company]) collects, why, and your choices. We try to collect as little as possible.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

To provide the Service (store and analyse your trades), authenticate you, send essential account emails (password reset, verification), process your subscription, prevent abuse, and fix problems. We do not sell your data, and we don't use your trading data for advertising.

3. Processors we rely on

We share data only with vendors who help us run the Service:

Each processes data only on our instructions to deliver their part of the Service.

4. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. It's required for the app to work and isn't used for tracking or advertising. We don't run third-party ad cookies.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Delete your account and we remove your trades, journal, and screenshots, except where short-term backups or law require otherwise.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA/UK under GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can export or delete most data from within the app, or email us and we'll help.

7. Security & transfers

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), access is scoped to your own account, and screenshots are served only to you. Our processors may store data in the US or other countries; we rely on their standard safeguards for international transfers.

8. Children

The Service isn't for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes & contact

We'll post material changes here and, where appropriate, notify you. Questions or requests? Email privacy@wickary.com.
